The 37-year-old, who is the president of football operations at Klutch Sports, has locked in more than $375 million in extensions for her clients between the end of the 2025 NFL season and now.
Nicole Lynn has a penchant for securing the bag for her clients.
Since the NFL offseason began this past March, Lynn has been behind the scenes negotiating with NFL franchises that are not only trying to keep star players but also pay them handsomely.
In April, she helped secure a three-year, $150 million extension for Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr., making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. In May, New York Jets running back Breece Hall inked a three-year, $45.7 million extension that made him the third-highest-paid running back in league history. Two deals nearing $195 million in value would usually be a banner period for any agent.
Except Lynn wasn’t done.
On Aug. 4, Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson reset the market by inking a three-year extension with a maximum value of $75 million. that made him the NFL’s highest-paid running back. The deal was surpassed by Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who signed a three-year extension with a maximum value of $75.75 million. Six days later, Lynn negotiated with the Dallas Cowboys to secure star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams a three-year, $105.9 million extension. Williams was Lynn’s first high-profile client, as he was seen as a top 3 NFL prospect when he was drafted in 2019.
Not counting the deals for new clients who are just beginning their NFL careers? Lynn’s summer totaled four significant deals with a combined contract value of $376.6 million. And that’s without Myles Garrett, another Lynn client and arguably the best player in the NFL, moving from Cleveland to Los Angeles via trade one year after signing a four-year extension that pays him more than $40 million per year, with over $123 million of the contract guaranteed.
Lynn first made waves in April 2023 when Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts inked a five-year extension worth up to $255 million. At the time, it was the largest contract for a quarterback in NFL history. Twenty-two months later, Hurts made history with the Eagles winning Super Bowl LIX. He became the first Super Bowl MVP to be represented by a Black woman as his agent.
Whenever she’s spotted on a football field or near the practice facility of an NFL franchise, Lynn’s “super agent” status kicks into high gear. Always looking out for the best interests of her clients, her journey to becoming one of the NFL’s top agents came with a career path that zigged and then later zagged. From interning at the NFL Players Association while in law school to working at Lil Wayne’s sports agency, Young Money APAA Sports then later landing at Klutch, it’s something to marvel at.
With her “Anyone got a Brinks truck?” slogan, Lynn has emerged as one of the brightest Black women in a field primarily dominated by men. And she continues to make history every single season.
