President Joe Biden has confirmed that he will cease his presidential campaign. “I have decided that it is in the best interests of both the Democratic Party and the nation that I withdraw,” stated Biden.
In his announcement, President Biden threw his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris, endorsing her as the new Democratic candidate for president. He further mentioned that he will make a national address later in the week to discuss the details of his decision.
